I would say the majority of Peacemakers struggle to find balance in their life, which is ironic, because that is what they crave most. Types 9s are always on the hunt for equanimity, tranquility, and peacefulness. They don’t want one area of their life to feel heavier or more complicated; they want everything to be at the same level of emotion all of the time. This quest can confuse Peacemakers, because most of them probably feel like their life is anything but balanced. Many of them may even frequently find themselves in imbalanced lifestyles and situations. This is because as much as Peacemakers want balance in their life, they find comfort in what they already know. And usually in order to begin working toward balance, you have to actively work toward taking more risks. I think it’s important to understand that, as a Peacemaker, if you want to make a change in your life, you have to choose to evolve! Balance won’t just eventually find you, and it won’t simply fall into place. Finding balance takes guts, and it can be a fight. It requires a change of pace, a change of mindset, and an acceptance of the uncertain. But it’s worth fighting for so that you can continue to grow into your best and healthiest self.
